Fun with cousins
Morgan is fairly adored by her cousins young and old. Usually when they wanted to play she played back. Unfortunately, not always. She will surely miss having so many fun cousins around.

My niece Cymber
As previously mentioned, my sister Kalli had her 5th baby 3 weeks early, the day after I arrived, on Dec. 18th. Her name is Cymber Fey Hill. Luckily, she was 6lb 1oz and didn't have any health problems. They kept her an extra day for weight gain but she was not going to miss out on the Christmas festivities. She is beautiful. It was so fun that I got to be there to visit in the hospital, help throw her a baby shower, and be at the blessing. Here is the little angel.

We had my brother take pictures of this shower and he didn't really do it justice. It was beautiful. I couldn't believe my mom and I did it ourselves. We made cake pops with white and pink chocolate, chocolate cupcakes with pink frosting, onesie and stroller sugar cookies, and raspberry lemonade bars. We had a cranberry cocktail for drink with three cranberries on a stick in each cup and lime slices to garnish. It was well attended and went great!

Fun with the Collins
Brent came up from San Diego for Christmas, then went back to work after new years. Then he cam back again at the end of January for 6 more days before we flew out. During that time, there were many shared meals, family volleyball & dodgeball, hiking, high school basketball games, and lots of hanging and and talking. The girls really enjoyed having quality time with grandma and papa as well.

Our girls and their tongues. I'm not sure what to do about that.

Morgan, the cow girl
My father grew up on a farm and has always loved animals. My family moved to Gridley, CA when I was in college so they could have land and my dad could have animals. Well they currently have cows, chickens and two miniature horses. Morgan loved it. Most days we were there she would say, "Grandpa, can we go feed the animals?" He was quite pleased to be able to share that special time with her. As you can see from the expressions on both of their faces, these were good times.
Look at that tongue.

Ready to launch.

All smiles!

What an arm.

Some people have dogs, other people have cows.

Sometimes being a cowgirl is hard work.

Christmas Eve and Day Fun
On Dec. 17th, the girls and I drove up to Nor. Cal where we would spend the next almost 6 weeks. We were able to have a wonderful Christmas and have lots of quality time with both Brent's family and my family before shipping off to Guam. Christmas was fabulous as usual. The progressive dinner, nativity, and cousin gift exchange were done a little early as Haylee and family were leaving. Then Christmas eve night all we had left to do was eat our wonderful Turkey feast, the Grinch gift exchange, the singing of Christmas carols, watching The Nativity movie (only part of it) and the sparkling cider toast. We were almost bored.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds.

Morgan got the shaft a little this year since everything we got for Christmas had to be packed in a suitcase. So all Santa could bring her was this singing, swimming, little mermaid doll. Mom and dad bought her a princess bike and helmet and a couple other gifts that were sent to Guam early.

She did get spoiled by grandmas though and magically, everything fit in our 9 pieces of checked luggage.

Jaycee was not quite ready to get up at the designated time of 6:30am so dad decided to join her back in bed.
Then it was off to the Collins for more gift exchanges, more good food, and some fun on the zipline in Sarah and Drew's backyard.

Nov. - Early Dec
Things were a little crazy during this time and we didn't take many pictures. The movers started coming Dec. 11th so we didn't decorate for Christmas or really do anything festive. We spent a lot of time organizing and selling stuff on craigslist. We were most sad about having to leave our playground but luckily we lived in San Diego and Morgan could continue to play on it until we sold it in Mid. Dec.

Morgan and her friend Halle. Sorry it is blurry but they were going so fast.

This is Morgan's Christmas pillow case dress I made for her and Jaycee. They wore them to the ward Christmas party but that was about it.

We also tried to spend as much time as we could with Jarom and Alyssa since we were leaving them and eat at our favorite restaurants. (Sanrita's taco shop in Spring Valley and Cheap Chinese)We tried Phill's BBQ and actually really liked it.
