We ended up staying in town for the 4th and are glad we did. We were much more relaxed and able to spend quality time with each other. We went to the zoo, went swimming, played Guitar Hero World Tour, went to a party, and cooked out (that means grilled burgers for those of you in the West.)We're grateful for this country we live in and for the freedoms we enjoy.
Morgan has decided that she doesn't like to wear things on her head or face and her mother still likes her to so it's a constant struggle. As you can see in the picture below, I've just resorted to holding her hands. We finally got a picture of Morgan in her sunglasses that match her swimsuit. She wasn't very happy about it, but she got over it.
Then her mom decided she needed to wear this cute 4th of July headband from grandma. Again she wasn't thrilled, and was reaching to take it off.
Finally, I resigned and let her throw in on the ground but she still wouldn't smile for the picture.
These pictures are from grandma's house in May with Morgan's cousins. We were taking 4th pictures for my mom to put on her wall so I thought I would post a couple now since it was fitting for the holiday. Morgan didn't seem to mind the headband then.
